So we discovered that Thomas (and Matt) love the sprinklers!!! Until of course he found the warmer mud puddle!!! Matt and Tom were SOAKED and Ben watched... felt the "cold" water and enjoyed the playground. It was a great way to enjoy our hottest day this summer yet!!! Mama got pretty wet when it came to trying to clean the mud off of Tom!! The macNeills
You can imagine the excitement in the macneill household when a lawn mower with steering levers is dropped off for a test drive!!! matt and Ben love it and i would say PAPA is the most excited of all. Thomas loves to steer the regular john deere and mama even takes a quick turn. New lawn mower??? HHMMM. We shall see. The MacNeills
After a very rainy day at home..hence the face painting... we got to go with Papa and some friends to Santa's Woods again!!! Only 8 days after our last visit, the kids managed 4 and a half hours of playing!!! Thomas loves the slides, Matt the bikes and cars and Ben...well still the candy canes!! Mama did pretty good giving Matt a ride on those low bikes... you should see her big belly already!!! Take care, the MacNeills
What a fun last week we've had with a great visit to the cottage with gramma and papa...see us catching fish from the dock and eating lots of smores at our campfire. Mama stayed home to make our year supply of strawberry freezer jam... that is ALOT of jam. We then headed to Twin Shores for 3 nights of sleeping in the RV. Our friends CallieMae and her family were there so we had a great time !!! The sun was out..finally so we were at the beach in the afternoons...too bad mama forgot the camera. I think Ben's favorite thing was the "sticky cheerios " he gets when we camp!! Thomas loves to crawl into the waves and Matt likes the deeper waters!!! It was so fun. On saturday we had some sun shine and papa was home so we took out the bikes...here is Ben with his new "orange" bike!!! and we went to the outdoor swimming pool in Kensington. Even Thomas lasted 45 minutes... in what mama thought was rather cold water!!! Today Brianna and Audeane joined us for a fun day at Santa's Woods. They are geared to young kids and have fishing, minigolf (including indoor neon golf), automatic cars (matt's favorite by far), slides, rock climbing walls, parks with a Zipline, a petting zoo, trains that move, ball rooms (Ben found all the orange ones of course), gingerbread houses, trampolines (That Thomas really liked) and of course a visit from santa. He brought the boys candy canes... they remembered that detail clearly from last year!!! It was our friend Sam's Birthday , and we all had a fun time celebrating with him!!! We are all tired, no nap for Thomas today so I expect we will all sleep well tonight... I know I will!! The MacNeills
Finally the sun has come back and we get a beach day at Cabot park. Tom ate more sand than food, but this is no different than my other two!! He was even "walking " on the beach today... it was fun to watch. Ben and Thomas helped cover Matt in sand though sometimes Thomas has to learn that helping does not include bonking his brothers with a shovel. Another nice day planned for tomorrow and saturday!!! Mama is tired and plans to sleep early tonight!!! Happy Summer to all! The macNeills
