Christmas Day and boxing day
On Christmas day, Auntie Pam and heather came over with their families and we had turkey and ham!!! We ate alot and had fun. The kids got to open their stockings and santa left playmobile and trains for thomas. Their cousins and families gave the boys a fish aquarium which we will set up in the next few days!! Pretty cool!!! Mama and papa gave the boys a blow up bouncy room... we have gone twice a day to the "shed" to bounce our energy out!!! It is great. (Since we have almost no snow, sledding etc has not been an option so this fills in nicely!!! ) ANyway, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and we will posting pictures of baby when he finally decides to come!!! (Mama is starting to get impatient!!!) All the best, the MacNeills
Christmas eve at the MacNeills
Despite being a bit late, thought I should start putting up a few pictures of the last few days. The kids were really excited about Christmas and played with our playmobile manger scene for the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thanks again to the Antons who sent us this as a gift 3 years ago!! They love it and we still have most of the pieces. We let the kids eat supper and then we had a plate of cookies and chocolates after a few songs. The kids sang away in a manger...Thomas is good at holding up his star at the right time!!! (THey sang this one at church last sunday as well). We then had alot of gifts to open and it was a pretty long evening before we got through everything. Ben was showing Gramma how he looks with a pregnant belly..like his big mama who is still waiting for the little boy to come out!!! I will put up Christmas day pictures etc later, all the best, the MacNeills!!

More Christmas celebrations!!
Two visits from santa in one day!! How lucky is that!!! Matt and Ben had a great concert for day care. Matt was a tree who fell once chopped to the delight of the crowd. Ben was part of the family that chopped hin down. They then sang until santa came and even Thomas said "santa"...though would cry if closer than 2 meters to the man in red!!! We had a yummy lunch and then after an afternoon nap (well for Tom), we headed to the Cambell's house where 15 kids got another surprise visit from santa!!! Papa and mama then had their work parties so we are pretty tired out today. At church matt and ben got to each light an advent candle at the front of the church. This was pretty exciting and we plan to visit gramma and her friend this afternoon. Hope everyone else is enjoying the advent lead up to Christmas. PS... mama is getting pretty big and today would be the time that I actually had Matt!!! The MacNeills

More Christmas fun..first snow!!!
We finally got some snow!!! The kids were running around the house yelling "It snowed" at 7 am yesterday morning...mama and papa were not quite awake but the excitement was quite something!! Matt and Ben went sliding with papa on "dragon mountain" behind our house. Thomas was sleeping at the time and so when he did wake up, mama was making seafood chowder for a potluck at our house before the kensington santa parade at 5pm. I gave Thomas some snow to hold in the house and he ate/sucked on it... 5 handfulls later he still wanted more. I don't think he remembers snow from last year. SHould be a fun winter. The MacNeills

Getting ready for Christmas
The boys have been pretty busy. Matt had his christmas concert last week..he was a soldier, a reindeer and sang with the groups. Of course this was the second visit from Santa!! Thomas loves the music and claps enthusiastically!! Ben and Mama enjoyed the show as well!! Matt had another haircut..this time blue was the color he picked. Ben is batman and Thomas always tries to grab the camera...he loves looking at the pictures that were taken !!! Today we decided we should at least decorate our windows.. Matt drew the 3 kings, a santa and the big star (see santa in a sleigh pulled by a reindeer inside the biggest star!!). Ben decorated the christmas tree that I outlined for him and made a ton of presents for under the tree!! We are having friends over tomorrow before the Kensington santa parade so we wanted to start decorating. By the way, Thomas ate 4 chicken legs in one meal ... i think he likes them!! All the best, take care, The MacNeills.
