Thomas is now 3!!

I was coming upstairs after a run on the treadmill and I looked down to the sign saying "Folo thi arrows" and it led to Matt (the bloody body) and Ben (the evil guard) who awaken as I arrive , the show me all the art work that they taped on the door. (Mummies, dracula, frankenstein, spiderbats etc etc... thanks to Scooby Doo!!)

In the last week, our storm count continues to rise and Ben decided to model the height of our huge snow piles. I had to dig out the bird feeder today that usually hangs almost 5 feet from the ground. We have shoveled off the roof already, and in the last few days we have more build up!! The kids love it, both missing school and playing in the white stuff!! It certainly is getting hard to shovel!!

Samuel has now decided it was time to walk. This weekend is the first where he walks more than he crawls!!! Our little boy really is a toddler now... he waddles about slowly but confidently!! He is proud of himself, as are we!! He does however still love the jolly jumper (note the cape the boys tied around his neck!!) Sam also likes birthday cake!!

Thomas is officially three today and he thanks everyone for the many phone calls, the good wishes and the presents. The runner bike is a big hit !! Lucky boy!! Happy Birthday big man, we love you so much!! The MacNeills.

Mill River Fun Day

The family was supposed to all take part in the "Cap Enfants" sponsored french day at Mill River Resorts. Since Tom and Sam still have fevers, I got to take Matt and Ben. I don't recall going anywhere without a younger sibling and what a fun day we had!!! We swam for 1.5hrs, we went sledding twice (I went down as often as the boys) and we even met some of Ben's friends along the way!! The horse drawn sleigh was also fun. Matt sat in the front... pushed his way forward as mama snapped a picture of Ben. We really had a fun day today. Thomas and Samuel are slowly getting better. Fevers are not so high and I think they are coming around. As thomas said after a 4 hour nap, (at bed time) "U-per man is tired". Poor guy!! The MacNeills. (The first picture was taken last wednesday before the two little ones got sick.)

Tom and Aiden celebrate their Birthdays!!

Since the boys are only 2 weeks apart in age, we decided to have a party at playgroup for both boys. With punching balloons, the hammer and car cakes, hats, spiderman balloons and whistles, we all had a pretty good time. It happened to fall on another storm day so Matt and Ben played upstairs and mama brought them cake and fishy crackers as well!! Sam ate some chocolate cake (spinach and carrot chocolate!!) but then was ready to fall asleep!! Happy Birthday Aiden and Tom!! Thanks to everyone who came!! The MacNeills

Another Storm Day at Home

Today we had such strong winds that visibility on the roads was often zero. With school, work and everything cancelled, we had another day to play at home. Yesterday Papa was home to play guitar with Thomas, put together the new coffee table and play with all of the boys. Jacquie was here in the morning and we all played "Uper man" (superman) with Thomas. Sam took 22 steps in a row... he is getting pretty close to walking. Fun to watch! Matthew was a red ninja. Ben was laying around and protecting his mama all day from the Zerbert inflicting red ninja. Mama managed to make Aiden's and Tom's 3rd Birthday Cakes. They are 2 weeks apart and wanted a blue car and a blue hammer. Happy Birthday boys!! The party is tomorrow morning!! The MacNeills

February is here!

Steve has been working hard to rearrange all of our back up drives etc resulting in me being able to download pictures once again!! In the last weeks, we have had many huge snowfalls. Sometimes it is so cold that we have to stay inside and other days we play outside for hours. All of the kids like to be outside. This includes the furry boy Jasper who likes to be included in all the fun. Matthew likes to jump off the deck (literally!!) into the huge snow drifts below. He also likes to climb the trees in our yard. Ben went to a party where he got the scorpion drawn on his face!! Cool dude. He also helped model the high snow banks after our third snow storm in a row... the banks are even higher since that day!! Thomas likes to wear his back pack everywhere and play his guitar whenever he can. Samuel is taking 5 or 6 steps at a time now and likes to be in the middle of all the action. Drew came to visit one day and after being outside for a couple hours, the boys came in to draw "themselves " as monsters. Ben is a half human and half spider, Matt is a vampire with a spider's spinner and snowshoe feet for the deep snow while Drew is a dinosaur.
The Jack Frost Festival was this weekend and unfortunately Ben had a fever when he came home from school on Friday so he missed the entire day. Mama took Tom and Matt to see all of the snow sculptures, the ice slides, the shrek show, the swimming pool, horse drawn sleigh rides, the indoor activities etc etc. We were all pretty tired at the end of the day that started at 9 and ended at almost 5 pm. Papa and Ben stayed home with Sam to watch movies and they had a few treats of their own!! Ben is feeling better today so he is excited for Valentine's Day at school tomorrow!! Hope everyone else is having fun too. The MacNeills
( PS. Matt lost his first front tooth last thursday night!! )
