Visiting the Girls up West!

We had a nice
Sunday afternoon , playing with Cheryl and her girls. The obvious highlight was the Gator which Tom, Ben and Matt took turns driving (Aubrey was pretty understanding letting them use her tractor.) The next highlight was the Sundays!! Toppings and icecream in super cool bowls!! Does life get any better? Tom is helping Avery in the Gator and Sam is digging in some poor farmer's field. Good thing he loves the cars too!! We then got to go to the cottage and visit the family and jump on the trampoline. Needless to say, the boys slept well last night!

Over the past week, Sam has had fun on the deck with balls and running around. He loves to wear hats (which is great now that we occasionally get a bit of sun!!) Matt (Spiderman) and Tom (Batman) were taking a break from their crime fighting. Sam fell asleep one lunch hour in his highchair and we got a quick visit from Al and Daphne at playgroup. What a fun week!! The MacNeills.

The sun did peek out for a bit on Monday afternoon so the boys and I played together in our backyard. Sam loves the play area and it is so fun to see Matt push Sam and make him laugh like crazy!! Matthew kept pretending that Sam was hitting him with the swing, which resulted in hysterical laughter from Tom, Sam and Benjamin! Gotta love the fenced in playground!!! The MacNeills

Monday Bike Ride in Cavendish

Despite it being a bit cold, we managed a 1 hr bike ride through the trails at Cavendish Beach and the old Rainbow Valley. Ben rode most of the way by himself and is getting really good on this golden bike. Matt is riding circles around everyone and Tom kept up on his cool runner bike.

A few days ago, Mama got out a pair of cleats and so Matthew got to practice with her a bit. Ben was at a birthday party at the time and got these cool glasses!!

Oh My Goodness, the Sun Came Out!!!

After two weeks of rain, we actually had a most beautiful day!!! 22 degrees and sunny!! I think PEI is in shock. We were outside most of the day. Thankfully Sam loves to wear hats. Since papa picked up his first ever new truck today (he has been waiting 6 weeks for it now), we took a ride to Frosty's (while the kids were at school, I almost feel guilty!!) and Steve and Sam are both pretty happy about this new truck. It was sad to say goodbye to the 1988 Bumpa's truck. Sam also discovered today that he likes shoulder rides!!!

Thomas took some pictures of me and Sam so I had to put it up. Thomas still loves his guitar (those were taken during the rain yesterday).

Tree Planting at Beavers

Ben's Bear friend "Toutou" came home from school with him to spend the night and he has to write a story about his adventures. Toutou had a great time with the Beavers planting trees and hiking in the woods. The boys gave us a "dirty hands" picture and then at the end, Matthew and Benjamin bucked Toutou back up in his own seatbelt for the ride home. We enjoyed the fog but no rain and balmy 9 degrees!!! (Better than 6 and rain which has been the norm for the last 2 weeks!! It can only keep getting better!) The MacNeills

Scott Edmund Piovoso!!

Congratulations to Heidi and Paul and big sister Jane Ellen for welcoming their little boy into the world today!!! Biscarrosse has a new healthy baby boy to play with!! We are SO excited and can't wait to meet our new cousin. Congratulations again!! More pictures to come I hope!! The MacNeills

Relay For Life

The 2011 Relay For Life in Summerside was held early this year on Friday the 13th. This entire night, the Hive Honeys (I did don't have a team picture this year... I guess I was just too busy that night) walked for our friend Dawn Davis and many other people we love who have died from cancer. At about 3 or 4 in the morning, when you walk around the track and see all of the luminaries.. you can't help but shed a tear or too and think about our friends and family that we have lost. Rainy Days with Mops!!

Thomas and Sam are well entertained for hours with a mop each! For Tom it is a sword, for Sam, a mop. We also like music and even Jasper likes to stay inside when there is so much cold drizzle!! Hope it is warming up everywhere else. The MacNeills

Mother's Day.

This year Mother's Day had to be cancelled due to vomiting and diarrhea on the part of the mom in this house. (Hence no photos!) Her most cherished gift was from her husband who brought home 2 IV bags of fluid and a wonderful dose of gravol and zofran so she could make it through the day with her beloved little boys!! Oh, the playdough picture of apples from Ben, the cards, hand bouquet from Thomas and plants from Matt, the fence around my blueberries so Jasper does not keep walking on them (Matt and Ben helped Papa with that) were also really nice. I appreciate them so much more today !!! Hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Alex brings a visitor!!

The boys were so excited to play with the 9 week old puppy belonging to Amber. I am not sure how the puppy felt but even Jasper was pretty gentle. Not as much could be said for Tom who felt he should hold the puppy..all the time. Thanks for bringing her by.
