The School Week Flies By

This week has flown by. The kids have worn their new masks from gramma almost everyday. We finally got Sam to try his kitty cat on. He is pretty cute. Thomas and Ben took turns taking Sam by the hand, leading him down the steps through the playground to play outside today. It was pretty sweet to watch. Sam loves playing outside like the big boys! Terry Fox Run Alberton

We wanted to see some of our family up west so we met up with our cousins the "McNeill Girls" and together with bikes and strollers we walked and rode the 5km Terry Fox Run in Alberton. " It was a long bike ride and I needed lots of breaks... but it was fun" says Ben . They particularly liked the chocolate (Kinderschokolade of course ) and the juice they got at the end. The playground was also fun.

We then made our way to the cottage where gramma and Dale had invited Uncle Ronnie, Mary, Irene, George, Chrissy, Pam Toni, Claire , Alex, Hillary, Allison and the MacNeill boys for supper. Yummy!! Mama and Papa had fun talking and sharing a drink with the family. It had been so long , too long. Thanks everyone. The MacNeills. By the way, aren't the hats and mitts that Gramma got the boys cool!!! They LOVE them.

A Walk and Bike Before the Thunderstorm!

Earlier this week, Matt and Ben wore their new shirts. "He did it" is my favorite!! You can see a picture of Tom asleep on the couch downstairs.. he really felt sick.

On Saturday we went for a little bike ride to Johney's for some lunch. You know Tom still is not feeling great when he does not use his bike and would rather sit in a stroller!! We did get a bit of playtime at the park. After lunch, papa told the boys a story in front of the propane fire place at Johney's before we headed home. The sky opened up about 1 hour later. Hope everyone else is having a fun weekend!!

First Day of School for the two Oldest!!

Matthew and Benjamin headed off to school this morning (and mama back to work). We all had a wonderful day. The boys certainly had their hands full with their numerous school supplies. Ben's bag was bigger than he, and weighed nearly as much. Good thing that I have strong boys!! The MacNeills.

Last Day Before School Starts and Mama goes back to Work

We were supposed to squeeze in an extra beach day but the wind was a bit much so we played at Cabot Park playground instead. Matt helped Sam down the big slides but soon Sam was going down by himself!! He loves to climb, swing, slide and teeter totter... Not only was it fun as they met and played with 2 other little boys, but it is much easier to clean up Sam's vomit on the grass then in sand. Sigh. Poor boy threw up everything offered to him. Hope this passes fast and skips the rest of the household!! School starts tomorrow, could be interesting. By the way, Matt, Ben and Tom made a fort with the patio furniture this afternoon. Sam just stood and watched and begged for water so that he could throw it up too... sigh. The MacNeills

A Morning at Lion's Park

We were pleasantly surprised by the sun today so we played all morning at the local playground. Sam goes up and down the slides, climbs the "stepping stones" by himself and loves the swing. Matt pushed the two younger boys for quite awhile !! Sometimes I am so glad we had lots of kids. They occasionally play so well together!! The MacNeills.

Saturday and the Sun is Shinning!!

Got to run the PCH 10 km fun run with Sheila today!!!Her first 10 km ever and she did AWESOME!!!!
