After Christmas Fun

More snow shovelling with papa outside on boxing day. Sam even helps!!

The boys really like the plasma cars they got from santa. Matt pushed them and somehow that added speed makes it so much more fun...and loud!!

Yesterday it was warm and we had a lot of snow to play in. Ben and Matt both had friends over in the afternoon. After some playtime in the shed, all the boys went outside for the rest of the afternoon. David and Curtis added to our crew. There were snow fights (against poor mama!!) and fort building (which started the snow fights).

This morning we got invited to Lilah's house. We played with the geotrax and then we dressed up. Soon we even got to make cookies before getting lunch served to us!!! Thank you Lilah!!! The boys had a great time. (as did mama!!) The MacNeills

Christmas Day

Santa did come and leave even more surprises for all of us. Santa also came by and shaved Papa's beard... there really is a Santa!! Mama has not seen the full Papa in 10 years, what a great surprise!! Can you tell mama is excited???
We also got to open all sorts of fun things in our stockings. Matt and Ben got an iPod nano so they can listen to music. They love them and as Matt built up most of the toys for his brothers today, he listened to his music. We did not expect that Sam would want some earphones as well. He listened to papa's ear phones most of the afternoon, dancing away or sitting quietly in his chair. Tom was so excited, he got gum... and a lot of his brother's toys that he kept trying to "play with".
We then had a wonderful turkey, with all of the trimmings. Auntie Pam and Auntie Heather and their families were over to celebrate with Gramma, Dale and our family. Thank you to everyone !! It really was a Merry Christmas!! The MacNeills

Christmas Eve 2011!

Somehow we managed a white Christmas, the snow started yesterday. It is just beautiful out.
Sam would not come in, even after all of his brothers did.

The kids could not wait to start the evening off. They had their Christmas dinner of hotdogs and Kraft dinner. We then 'forced" poor impatient Ben to song and sit through several Christmas carols. He even sang with Matt his french song (Noel Blanc which is "White Christmas") and "Away in a Manger". ) Tom sang "Up on the Housetop" with Sam. Bonnie and Dale were great sports and not only did Dale play piano for us after Matt's "Jingle Bells", but they put up with a few german songs as well!!
We finally did get the eggnog, cookies and presents started. The evening was full of great surprises. Thank you from everyone for spoiling us!!

We then watched Matt put together Ben's new playmobil castle. We then read some stories , tucked the kids in (we hope Sam does not get sick from all the chocolate that he inhaled!!) and set up our adult fondu. Life really is nice !! Merry Christmas everyone, the MacNeills.

Steven's dream come true!!

Steve phoned me at work to tell me that his dream was coming true, finally after all these years... Matt was outside shovelling snow!!! His friend Sofia was coming over so he wanted to shovel the snow so their car could get in. He did a great job!!!

The rest are pictures of life in the MacNeill household. Sam is loving the GeoTrax trains and spends a lot of time with them. All the boys love a popcorn /movie night on Fridays!!

We also went for a really fun playgroup at the Woods residence and even the older boys were both well behaved and had fun!! It was great. Sam is also in love with the Christmas Song singing puppy .. he turns him on and then starts to dance!! It is so much fun this year ... our house could be bouncing from the outside and I would not be surprised, there is so much excitement here!! Merry Christmas to everyone!! The MacNeills.
