update as of OCt 8, 2008

So Helga's 10 yr medical school reunion was alot of fun. The boys really liked all the Knights and the hotel that looked like a castle. "where are the dragons?" Matt wanted to know. We also got to see the baby elephant breastfeeding and the hippos swimming in the water. Jane Ellen enjoyed that as well. We also had alot of birthday celebrations with uncle Darwin and Reiley (Caleb's is on saturday).. dressing up sure is alot of fun. October 3, 2008

With dad in the hospital, Ellen and Kolin came and we were able to all spend some family time together as dad recovered. We are so so happy that poopa is getting better. As you can tell we managed a few more visits to the zoo, as well as some good playing time with our cousins and in the fall leaves.

Begin of October

As you see, Matt just got a new keyboard to practice his music...Ben likes it too. We then met up with Tante Elke and the boys as well as Tante Heidi and new baby Jane Ellen. We went to the park and then got to visit the zoo!!! The baby elephant and gorilla are pretty cute.

scarecrow contests

Spent the day with the boys at Cool Breeze Farms for the scarecrow contest (the crow shaped scarecrow won), with the hay rides, hay maze, face painting, tractors, races, pumpkin decorating... we were all pretty tired after 2 and a half hours. Thomas (in the snuggli) cried for most of the hayride , fell asleep just at the end of the ride....sorry about the crying for all those who rode with us...he really was good the rest of the day. Matt is a ghost and Ben a cat!!! (Who meowed the entire day after his face was painted with red whiskers.. never give the kid a mirror when he is getting painted!!) September is here

Steve did it!! Rode across the island in 2 days (thats 300km!!) with the ER staff!!! Way to go PCH (Prince County Hospital). Thomas has a great spiky hair look... without gel!! Matt and Ben got to go to a Birthday party and here is the pinata!!! What a fun last few days. Happy Fall, the MacNeills
