Final days in Calgary

Matt and Ben got some pretty cool playmobile pirates and some legos that have resulted in HOURS of playtime...even in the tub!!! Caleb had his birthday party and we all got more cake and even a chance to swim in the hottub. Oma and Mama were holding Jane Ellen and Thomas one supper. We had the traditional thanksgiving eat fest with our friends from toronto and Ottawa here in calgary this year. You can see the huge turkey and ham... Thomas is already kissing Maddie's leg and Matt and Ben had a blast with Gillian, Michael and Jack. Run , crawl, be different animals and then play outside and then eat some more... what a fun weekend. We then went up to Edmonton to see the Keeling clan and the Holt clan... despite bringing a camera, I actually forgot to take any pictures!!! Back in calgary we took our 6th visit to the zoo (only PEI folk with calgary zoo season passes!!) with Tante Elke and then also with tante Heidi and her entire family!! We are going to miss this place, but of course we are also excited to come home...especially to the "shed"!!! See you soon and wish us luck on the flight, the MacNeills

So Helga's 10 yr medical school reunion was alot of fun. The boys really liked all the Knights and the hotel that looked like a castle. "where are the dragons?" Matt wanted to know. We also got to see the baby elephant breastfeeding and the hippos swimming in the water. Jane Ellen enjoyed that as well. We also had alot of birthday celebrations with uncle Darwin and Reiley (Caleb's is on saturday).. dressing up sure is alot of fun. With dad in the hospital, Ellen and Kolin came and we were able to all spend some family time together as dad recovered. We are so so happy that poopa is getting better. As you can tell we managed a few more visits to the zoo, as well as some good playing time with our cousins and in the fall leaves.

Begin of October

As you see, Matt just got a new keyboard to practice his music...Ben likes it too. We then met up with Tante Elke and the boys as well as Tante Heidi and new baby Jane Ellen. We went to the park and then got to visit the zoo!!! The baby elephant and gorilla are pretty cute.
