NOvember, dress up time

NO you are not seeing things, poopa and oma played (and took great care) of Thomas while mama was in Calgary for work last weekend. Thomas (under Poopa and Oma's direction) started drinking again as well!!! Horray!!! Today was rememberance Day and after the morning services, we had a dress up afternoon... the unicorns, hulks, giraffes, spidermen were all running around the house. Trick or treat!!!

Halloween and the day after

Halloween was a quick fun night with lots of treats!!! The monkey (Thomas) was being held up by the tree (mama) and King Papa and sir Matthew the knight were held captive by the pirate Benjamin.... Thomas was "his monkey". ANyway, our friends joined us and it is amazing how much stuff the kids got in only about 8 houses!!! Matt and Ben ate while watching the bedtime movies and then surprisingly fell asleep quickly. Next day , matt gave ben some horse rides and they played alot together. Thomas watched all the fun, I think he can't wait to play along!!!

ALmost Halloween!!!!

Our pumpkins!!!

Matt and Ben made their pumpkins up for Halloween today!!! (using mom's pumpkins from her patch!!)

Back Home again

Matt and Ben went for a piggy back ride... well on each other. Poopa and Tom did get that chance to hang out a bit before we left. We then all went in Nadia's run for asthma. The Carlsons were all there and Caleb rode his bike the entire 5 km, and Matt walked/ran it with tante Heidi and Jane Ellen and Papa. I think Jane Ellen is smiling but Heidi is not so sure. I think this picture proves it. Onkel Paul had his hands full with the boys. On our last day we had a quick visit with Tante Heidi and Jane Ellen. Thomas really likes her... always trying to grab on to her. The picture with Tante Heidi reading to the boys, shows us as a reflection on the mirror. We also got to visit with a few of mamas friends at the park... we all happened to have babies , Thomas being the eldest!!! Thomas loved laying on the grass in the feild. The last is a picture of Thomas in the bumbo chair today.. who is still only slowly growing. Hope all are well, the MacNeills.

Final days in Calgary

Matt and Ben got some pretty cool playmobile pirates and some legos that have resulted in HOURS of playtime...even in the tub!!! Caleb had his birthday party and we all got more cake and even a chance to swim in the hottub. Oma and Mama were holding Jane Ellen and Thomas one supper. We had the traditional thanksgiving eat fest with our friends from toronto and Ottawa here in calgary this year. You can see the huge turkey and ham... Thomas is already kissing Maddie's leg and Matt and Ben had a blast with Gillian, Michael and Jack. Run , crawl, be different animals and then play outside and then eat some more... what a fun weekend. We then went up to Edmonton to see the Keeling clan and the Holt clan... despite bringing a camera, I actually forgot to take any pictures!!! Back in calgary we took our 6th visit to the zoo (only PEI folk with calgary zoo season passes!!) with Tante Elke and then also with tante Heidi and her entire family!! We are going to miss this place, but of course we are also excited to come home...especially to the "shed"!!! See you soon and wish us luck on the flight, the MacNeills
