Steven's dream come true!!

Steve phoned me at work to tell me that his dream was coming true, finally after all these years... Matt was outside shovelling snow!!! His friend Sofia was coming over so he wanted to shovel the snow so their car could get in. He did a great job!!!

The rest are pictures of life in the MacNeill household. Sam is loving the GeoTrax trains and spends a lot of time with them. All the boys love a popcorn /movie night on Fridays!!

We also went for a really fun playgroup at the Woods residence and even the older boys were both well behaved and had fun!! It was great. Sam is also in love with the Christmas Song singing puppy .. he turns him on and then starts to dance!! It is so much fun this year ... our house could be bouncing from the outside and I would not be surprised, there is so much excitement here!! Merry Christmas to everyone!! The MacNeills.

Skating..well Sort of

After church, we headed up to Alberton for a Santa Family Skate. Really it was more of a candy cane eating adventure with a bit of skating in the back ground!! Tom eventually got the hang of it and Ben is starting to skate so much stronger...with a hand of course. Matt is the man who really loves to fly around on the ice. Sam got the double bladed skated and took two turns out on the ice with his papa. By the end he loves being slid around the ice like his brothers. Thanks to Cheryl and her girls for inviting us. Potluck at the MacNeills and Sam and Tom's Christmas Concert

Sam and Tom had a great concert. Sam stole the show with his dancing. Tom sang a solo!! It was great. A second visit from Santa is always fun too. Thank you also to gramma and Dale as well as Jacquie and Dave for coming to watch. The kids were really excited to see you all!!

As you can see, the kids still love to sit on Steve's legs!!! Matt made this paper star and posed with Sam on the chairs to show you all.

We then had some friends come over for a potluck. WIth so much food and fun. As you can see, Tom took the opportunity for some one on one time with Christine!! Thanks everyone!! The MacNeills

Ben and Matt's Christmas Concert

Ben and Matt both did a great job last night at their school Christmas concert. It is fun to see them doing so well and enjoying their school so much. The MacNeills. (PS Tomorrow Tom and Sam have theirs. Sam has been singing "Up in the House Top " ... we can't wait!!)

Finally our Christmas Tree!!

On friday, Steven and I got to visit some friends in Halifax, would you know that Neil owns a "Lederhosen" outfit that fits Steve? I thought he was pretty handsome!!








You can feel the excitement in the air that is building up in our house!!! The kids can not wait until school is out and Christmas comes. Ben even got his haircut so that he will be even more handsome at his concert. Matt also just got a trim as he wants to grow his hair out. I think santa might have to bring him a brush in his stocking!! Sam and Tom love squeezing into the cupboards and Sam was very curious to watch papa setting up and watering the tree that we got yesterday. We did manage a tree decorating, cookie eating Christmas evening tonight!! Sam loves to un-decorate trees!!! I suspect the bottom 2 feet of our tree will be quite bare by tomorrow!! Lights For Life

Last night, despite the rain, we had a pretty good turn out for the hospital's annual Lights for Life. The light show was great and over $200 000 was raised for the equipment fund at PCH. Way to go!!! The MacNeills.

Santa Parade in Kensington

Kenzie is now one and she tends to spend time surrounded by the MacNeill boys when her mama and I sneak off for a run and Steve watches the 5 kids. She has grown up so fast and the boys love having a girl around.






We had a fun week with Aiden and Tom having a playmate and enjoying time on Matt's skateboard while was at school. Mama and Papa went to see Jerry Seinfeld in Summerside last night followed by some dancing at Papa's work Christmas Party. A real night out with great friends. Thanks everyone.

Today was also the Santa Parade. The boys had a blast. Despite us lacking snow this year, we had a fun time collecting the candy that was given out. Mike and Dave were there to help me watch the rather excited little MacNeill boys. As you can see, Sam was the responsible one who held on to Timbit!! 2nd week of advent already, time is flying!
