New York!!

When I first arrived in New York we went to a dessert place called Serenditity!! Yummy!! I was almost able to eat the big caramel and hot fudge sundae!! I knew I was going to have fun here!! The 7 of us girls managed quite well. We went up the Rockefeller tower to view New York. It was a sunny day and we could see Times Square, the Empire State Building and Central Park. We went to a show called "Wicked" which was the story of the witch from the Wizzard of Oz. The picture with the apple is for Steve. We shopped, some of us more than others but I still managed to enjoy myself in the 3 story M&M store (got stickers for the kids) and even bought a skirt and two tops in some shops along the way!!! We ate well, had a lot of fun and even went to the Museum of Modern Art. The pile of candy was one of many "art exhibitions" !!" You have got to be kidding" slipped from my mouth more than once!! From all black to all white canvases to Picassos, Dalis and Monets. Our New York weekend was fabulous , mostly because of the fun company. The Doll store where you can buy outfits that match your doll clothes (could even get doll wheelchairs there!!) made Gill and I thankful that we have only boys!! Thank you all for the great time!! Niki, Deb, Kuy, Mary Ann, Kristen, and Gill... where too next year???

All the boys are growing so fast and today was a fun day where Jackie dressed Sam up in a few costumes!! How cute is that!! PS He loves this couch!!!

A Visit Up West

Sam loves to wear bike helmets but his head is so big, he does not fit into Thomas'!!! Mama's old helmet is a good substitute for around the house!!
So the snow is melting that we got this past weekend and the kids (well, Thomas and Matthew ) decide to not only get soaked outside but drink the water and dirt from the gutter.. This lead to baths and then somehow Thomas managed a shoulder ride on Gramma... that Ben decided to join. The boys say thank you to Gramma and Dale for the "Dominican Republic" shirts.

You turn your back for one minute!!!

Honestly, in less than a minute, Sam had unrolled the entire roll of toilet paper and had walked across the room and back. He really is growing up and quite the little man!! I believe mama was either with Thomas or with the older boys at the table. Amazing.

No School all Week!!!

Gotta love the boys and all the running around, bike riding and fun they create. Some would say they are a bit "busy" but I love to watch them run and play. Ellen had her 3rd Birthday at the last playgroup and Tom insisted on singing Happy Birthday to her with his guitar. Sam is my "run away m and m!!" The MacNeills

A Cool but Sunny Day

We decided to try the bikes out this morning and despite the cool wind, the boys rode their bikes. TOm loves his "Runner Bike" and is pretty fast. Ben only sat on his as the cold weather was too much for him. Matt rode his own as well as the attached bike , with Steve and Sam. Sam loved it!! I think we will have some great bike rides this summer!! Matthew was a Zombie yesterday in case anyone is wondering!! Tom loves the trucks he got from Gramma and Dale. The boys then had friends over and played outside in the playground all afternoon. They should sleep well tonight!! The MacNeills

While I was gone, PEI was busy too

From the 11th of March until the 18th, I was in France visiting my sister Heidi while Steve was home all week with the boys!! They did well as Steve got to see the boy's science fair . Ben did one on floating flowers and Matt on what conducts electricity. Gramma and Dale took the older boys to a hockey game. Notice that Matt was so excited that he insisted on wearing his hockey pyjamas to the games!!! They were pretty thrilled about that and the trip to MacDonalds. Overall the boys got along fine without their mama. Thanks guys. The MacNeills
