June finally looking like summer

We have had such a fun last 2 weeks with Thomas finally gaining weight and liking the jolly jumper and getting to the beach a few times. We bought a tent/shelter that we tried out at Cabot beach (by our house) and that was great to have some shade. Ben and Matt love the zipper etc etc. The mini excavator was a huge hit for Matt of course. Our friends Claire and Hillary were here visiting so Matt gave Hillary a push on the swing. Matt's super friend Aiden (Mr Incredible) also came by one day to play with our super hero (or space man depending on the time of day). Lots of playgrounds with spinning wheels and slides made for a fun lunch at the dairy bar named Johneys here in Kensington. Matt is sitting high at the end of his meal. We had a busy and fun day from playing outside, helping mom transplant her tomatoes (that was yesterday and no they did not all survive), and playingn outside with the bikes , to a birthday party and then a bar B Q with other friends afterwards... matt was not the only little boy who dressed up as a princess!!! Ben is a kitty cat in this picture!!

halifax visit with Heidi

What a fun last week we had. Tante Heidi came to PEI for 2 days where we played outside with the boys, you could not tell she was pregnant by the way she played so much!! We then all drove down to Halifax and while she worked at her conference, teh rest of us had a great visit with Neil and Gloria and Claire and Hilary. We had picnics in Point Pleasant park (where the old ruins are and the carved seals). We discovered a great park that Ben could not get enough of. We visited with some friends we have not seen in way too long, you can see papa being a "tickle dragon" and chasing all the kids outside. We had sandbox time and Thomas had alot of sleep time, even in mama's arms in the middle of the afternoon!!! Thomas is smiling and giggling now, though pretty small, he is pretty fun. Finally in the activity center and loving it!!! Another few weeks and we will get out the jolly jumper!!! Thanks to all our friends that we managed to visit and thanks again to Tante Heidi for the fun visit and swim!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring. The MacNeills
