feb, storm stayed again!!

Here we are in the house and we cannot see the road from the front window as the snow banks are soooo high!!! It is only -2 and we will be out in the afternoon. Thomas loves the horse and Ben loves being a ham!!! Take care, the macNeills

Thomas' first haircut

Fun Family weekend

This weekend was a really fun one !!! Papa was with us to enjoy the tubing at Mill River Resort. We went for the day and all 3 boys enjoyed the tubing!!! (Obviously we did not let Thomas go down alone, so mama and papa had alot of fun too!!! Today we all put on our one day pass to enjoy the end of Jack Frost Festival in Charlottetown (2nd biggest winter carnival next to Quebec!!). This kid geared weekend was full of rides, horse sleighs, skating, Backyardigans and spiderman shows, petting zoos, blow up bouncy gyms, ice slides sculptures and tubing... you can imagine that we missed a lot of it but after watching the "crazy canucks ski/snowboard jumping", and visiting a friend for some hotchocolate, all 3 kids were fast asleep in the van before we arrived home and 715pm... what a nice way to spend a weekend in february!!! weekend in Halifax!!!

What a fun time we had visiting with Claire and Hiallary in Halifax. We got to go sledding... the thin ice layer on the snow made for a really fast ride and a challenge when it came to walking back up the hill...this is Ben sliding back!!! Boys still all fit in one tub. And papa's jacket is pretty big on matt.. boys had such a fun time this weekend, thanks again , neil and gloria!!! The MacNeills

another snow storm

So the boy's latest game is "astronaut" wearing mits and their winter coat hoods!!! It is pretty fun to watch. They climb mountains and ask for "missions"...like wake up the papa monster if they dare!!! We got outside for a bit ...had to snowshoe to the "dragon mountain"dirtpile by the shed. We had fun with our friends as well from across the street!! Thomas was napping...matt took this picture of him... he did actually get his first tooth this week... can't see it but I can feel it!!! Papa is 40!!

First of all, in case you did not know, steve had his 40th birthday today!!! He got alot of wonderful attention, from balloons to presents and lots of signs posted in the streets and pictures at work that spanned his 40 years... 3 posters worth!! Gramma came down to celebrate with us and Heather and Pam worked very hard to make it a special day for steve!!! Today is also the first day that Thomas decided to pull himself up to a stand !!! Yesterday the beavers (ben came too) had a really fun day sledding and playing outside!! Finally the weather is warm enough to play outside!! We also had a great sledding day on satuday and skating day (at our friends who made their own skating rink in their back yard... pretty cool!!) Thanks for all the fun times, the MacNeills
