The kids were roller blading in the house today. Sam and Tom tried on the helmets too.




Mama was on call so Papa and the boys got to hang out for most of the day. Gramma came over in the afternoon to drop off Matthew's birthday present. A set of gold clubs!!! What a really lucky boy!! We all practiced a bit, should be really fun this summer. Thank you!! The MacNeills

Matthew's Skating Birthday Party!!

Matthew decided he wanted a skating party this year and we managed to get an hour in after some food, presents and cake. The kids had so much fun and thank you so much to Alex, Megan and Hollee for all of the help. Matt says thank you to everyone who came and had fun at his party. It really was great. The MacNeills.

4 Teeth Gone!!

Ben had managed to lose yet another tooth!! Meet Benjamin Toothless MacNeill!!! Papa is hooking up his new-to- him tractor tonight to blow some snow. Matthew's Birthday cake (it is supposed to be a green light saber ) is finally done. Thanks for the help papa!! The party tomorrow should be a lot of fun. We can't wait. The MacNeills.

Matthew is 8!!

Matthew lucked out and got a day off school (parent teacher interviews...in which Matt's teacher is very proud at his efforts and he is really doing well in school!!). He made a gingerbread house for a cake with Jacquie (who thankfully agreed to come over and watch the boys (including chicken pox Tom) while mama was at work and papa was between nights). They even got to play in the first real snowfall of the season. It is already melting but we did get a thick blanket of white stuff that the boys played in this morning!! Overall a fun day with lots of phone calls and birthday wishes. Matt got his skateboard and rollerblades... he is SO excited. (His bike helmet is in the shed, hence the hockey helmet!!!) Ben Loses Yet Another Tooth!!!

As Sam's face clears up, Thomas gets his "chicken spots". He is rather proud of this fact. I think he felt left out 2 weeks ago when everyone else had them. Strange really.

Ben also lost another tooth today, 3 gone now. Matt and Ben look pretty cool with all the teeth gone!! Have a good one, The MacNeills.

All I want for Christmas are my 2 Front Teeth...

Matt and Ben helped make supper last week and as you can see, Tom was pretty excited to eat it. They then had a great time playing on top of papa!!


Sam had his first day of daycare at Marlene's on Tuesday. The yellow rain jacket is the same that Matt had worn on his first day 5 years ago!! Time really does fly!! He is so easy going and had a great time. He loves it. Thomas is being a great big brother and helping him go down the stairs etc. Sam had his super Sam cape on with Super Tommy in the background. Today (the 18th) Ben lost his other top front tooth at school!!! All he wants for Christmas are his 2 front teeth!!!! He is pretty excited. The MacNeills

A wWeek into Chicken Pox..

I think the 2 older boys are well crusted over and likely to go to school tomorrow!!! (YYaahh) It has been a rather long week. We did get to the park today and you can see in Sam's face that he is finally feeling much better. (Especially compared to the days he would lay on the couch with Spiderman Tom. ) Have a good weekend, The MacNeills.

Still Spotted.. and Tired

Sam is pretty tired today and obviously not feeling great. The poor guy has it the worst. Hopefully this should be the last day before things get better. The MacNeills

Chicken Pox

We have the chicken pox virus visiting our house. Thankfully Matt, Ben and Sam are feeling ok with it. Today we started to notice more spots, we are at day 3 for the forming of lesions. Sam is a bit cranky but so far the kids have been mostly thrilled about missing school and I think they think that it looks pretty cool!! Thomas somehow did not get them... I guess we will go through this again in 2 weeks or so. The macNeills

A Visit to Halifax

It had been so long since we made a visit to Halifax. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING Neil and Gloria. You really appreciate good friends when things go wrong and we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends, thank you for all the help this weekend. It was so much to fun to see the girls again.

We also got to visit my friend Amy (from high school!!) and her family. I have never seen my boys play street hockey at all so it was a real treat to see them all pick up sticks and play so well. Again thanks for everything and sorry about the chicken pox... we did not know until we hit PEI that night. Sigh. Matt and Ben are doing well despite the spots. Take care, The MacNeills
