Harvest Festival and the Cottage

Mama got to start her day with a nice Harvest Festival Run. The pictures show the beginning, 5 km into it and right at the end. Papa brought the kids and they met mama at the finish. Ben, Matt and Tom ran in with me. It was fun.

The afternoon allowed Matt to head to Twin Shores to celebrate Halloween with Callie Mae. The rest of the boys came with mama to the parade while papa had to go to work. Poor papa always misses out on the fun. We always watch parades from Jacquie's lawn and it was fun to see her again. Sam got his first sucker, ate mostly the stick holding on to the candy part. Tom and Ben loved eating and collecting the candy.

After the parade was done we had to drive up to the cottage to meet Nannie, gramma, , Pat, Larry, Dale, Auntie Pat, Alexis, Amelia, Jacenta, Allison, and more family to celebrate both Alex and Ben's Birthdays. We had a yummy icecream cake after hotdogs on the Bar B Q. I think Ben was in heaven today!!! We were also saying goodbye to Jacenta who will be studying in France for the fall semester. Maybe she will get to meet up with the Piovosos!!
