Halloween!!!

Halloween is always so quick, especially on a monday with the kids at school!

Sam , Thomas and I went to a party after some grocery shopping. Marlene and Laura at the daycare let us some by and celebrate with them!! We made pizzas, sang songs and got to have some punch with a frozen green hand in it!! Pretty cool stuff.

This barely gave us time to get home and carve our pumpkins. It is a good thing that Lilah and her boys came over to help us!! Sam appreciated the help!! We then got dressed and made our rounds!! Sam loved it and walked/ran the entire time!! He would climb up the steps, hold out his bag and then turn around and run back down before he got any candy!! He was loving it!!! We had fun running with all of our friends... Zach, Sam, Audeane, Aiden and Patrick!! Thanks for your help and patience!! October 30th, Visiting!!!

On this very rainy day, we went up west after church. Our first stop was at Cheryl and Jason's house to play with the girls. We then went to visit Ronnie and Mary and hung out. Got to see uncle George too. We then headed for a quick visit to Nannie at the Villa (yes that would mean a quick visit with the 4 tired kids!!) Then we got to have supper with Gramma, Dale and aunt Pat and Pam at the cottage. The kids love visiting everyone, thank you!! The macNeills.

Halloween is Coming.

Sam loves his monkeys and to work with Matt when he does his homework. Sam also loves the horse as well.




As Halloween approaches, we made it out to the Halloween Hustle in Kensington. They had a great turn out and out "super hero family" survived the walk/ run . Matt and mama did most of the 5km... we did take a bit of a detour though!!

Matt was helping papa on the roof today as well. This may scare mama but Matt is pretty proud though.

The Last Few Days

This is turning into a really beautiful October with the leaves now changing and falling. The kids had a few days off of school and day care was closed so when I was not working, we all went to the playgrounds. Jacquie had them busy with making their own pizzas, crafts, games and playgrounds. When you go for walks, you start to see a few pumpkins around. The kids have been dressing up a lot lately. I think they can't wait for Halloween. Sam loves to put on his Kitty mask and gloves and he walks around saying "Meow". He has to be in on everything!! He still loves our shoes, well anyones shoes really!!

Today we got to visit with our friends from Ireland. Their son John and Matt are friends but had not seen each other in 3 years. It was great to see them. We then headed up to the cottage as Gramma had not seen the boys in a month (since Calgary). As usual, we got to jump on the trampoline, run around outside and then get a fabulous meal and dessert. Alex and Hillary made Halloween cookies and the boys loved them, thank you everyone!! The MacNeills
