Our Last Day at the Zoo

Oma also took Matt, Ben and Reiley to the Halloween decorated Calaway Park. (On October 10th) They had a blast!! Thank you Oma.















Yes we are some of the only people from PEI with a Calgary Zoo membership. This means that we try to use it so for our last day (October 11th), the entire MacNeill family rode the LRT to the Zoo. The kids love the ride. They played "Ninja Turtles" the entire way and at one point they were bowing to their master (papa)!!! We had such a fun day, funny that not even Sam fell asleep (until we were walking up the path to Oma's house that is). He loved the animals and the large fish at the hippo tank. (where the giraffes are ) The kids saw the live bears as well as all the statues. Thomas loves the Pterodactyl at the Zoo so we have to visit it each time we go, even if "it has a broken tail"! The boys like to hang out and run at the playground as well. From the Canadian Wilds to the Dinosaurs and playground, we managed a funfilled day at the Zoo. Gotta tire them out before we go home.
