This week saw Matt sick one day , I think it was from staying up so late at all of these fun sleepovers! He did miss out on the supper at the Exall house but the rest of us had a great time!! We also had a ton of playdates with Oma and Opa. Sam and Thomas get to spend a lot of time at the playgrounds while Ben and Matt squeeze in their homework each morning.
Mama, papa, Matt and Ben did spend Thursday at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller while Tom and Sam tired Oma and Poopa out at all the local indoor playgrounds all day! Thank you guys for letting the oler boys experience the Dinosaur Museum. It was pretty amazing. The drive down into Drumheller is pretty cool. The Badlands are certainly different from any landscape the boys had ever seen. (other than the dinosaur exhibits at the Calgary Zoo) The first family of Albertosaurus that you see when you enter the museum was incredible and around every corner there was something new to see or touch. Papa liked the mammoth and sabre toothed tigers while Ben liked the dinosaur that you could climb inside and look out of his mouth. Matt had renamed the Dimetrodon (has a fin like back that looks like a ruffled potato chip) the "Chiposaurus". There were videos that they wanted to watch, I think the boys were tired and wanted to sit after all of the running from place to place. Matt and Ben tried to kiss all kinds of dinosaur skulls. Matt thought the giant live cockroaches were pretty cool. As we left the museum, we climbed up the steps so we could get a view of the Badlands. We then stopped at the "World's Largest Dinosaur" to climb up all the steps inside of him and look out of his mouth at Drumheller. We got home late and mama and papa are beat. What a fun day.
