A Morning at Thundercove

Yesterday afternoon papa had the chance to put up the tire horse in our playground. Sam decided he should stick to the smaller ones!!

The boys and I got to the beach first!! By 10 am we were essentially the only ones there. It was a bit overcast but warm and the skies soon brightened up as you can see in the photos. This is Sam and my footprint in the sand. He really is growing up fast!! Our friends soon joined us and the only way to get 9 boys to sit on the sand together was to bribe them with some of Oma Trusch's Kinderschokolade!! Sam really enjoyed his, thank you Oma Trusch!!

Goodbyes and Hellos

As the Colebrooks headed back to Halifax after a few hours playing in the shed and around the house, we were sad to say goodbye. Thank you guys so much for coming to visit us. We can't wait to see you again soon!!! Have safe travels.

We also got to meet up with the Gaudets who are in town until saturday. Ella and Abi have grown up so so much!! Thanks for stopping by!! The MacNeills.

Haunted Mansion with 7 little Boys!!

We started the day with bringing the 7 boys to the Haunted Mansion. Thank you John and Mary for treating us!! The kids liked the rides and always like to run in the gardens with all the slides and fish etc. I can't wait to get together with you guys in a few years when the boys are a bit older and we can line them up for a picture!!!

While the Colebrook's went to Charlottetown, we then drove out to Stanhope to meet up with the Shimizus. We were treated to a wonderful dinner and as always is was so nice to see everyone again!! Thank you, The MacNeills.

A Real Beach Day at Twin Shores

We thankfully got some nicer weather to show our friends that the beaches here can be nice. The weather was perfect, even papa had a good day!!! Audeane, Callie Mae and Gabrielle were there to play with Matt. Finn, Niko and Mylo got to enjoy a warm PEI beach and all the kids laughed a lot. Can't beat that!! Yes that is Thomas feeding his friend. Sam loved having someone younger around too!! Mama was so excited that papa had fun too!!!

What started out as an evening trip to the beach (Cabot where most of the sand is still gone), turned into sudden thundershowers. The kids were drenched by the 3rd shower!! Thank goodness it was warm. Not the best way to welcome friends from Alberta!!! The MacNeills

First Beach Day of the Year and up to the Cottage

We had a lovely time at Thunder Cove for 3 hours on Sunday (July 17th). This was the first day at the beach for us. You could tell that a lot of sand was washed away and the cliffs have lost some rock and sand. The December storms have left their mark. Still, the boys had a blast playing in the sand and water. Matt got to borrow Drew's board and he loved it. Ben collected so many treasure and Thomas was absolutely covered in sand within 1 hour of being there!! The kids were exhausted so I packed them in the car and we drove straight up to the cottage to see everyone. Papa was at work but we got to play with auntie Pam and auntie Heather. Ben gave Heather a good run on the trampoline. It was a beautiful PEI day with family and beaches. Thank you everyone. The MacNeills.
