We had an uneventful drive to Walldurn (which meant Sam did not get car sick!!) and went to unload our suitcases at the Ferienwohnung Gerig. What a beautiful place. They have playgrounds, a trampoline, horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, pigs and beautiful apartments. (The living room was in Gramma's apartment over the stables and we stayed in the duplex/stand alone cottages.) We really lucked out!! After feeding the horses some apples, we met up at Tante Doris' house for a wonderful supper. Oma, Steffen and Biannca came too!! The boys had a nice place to run around as they had been in the car most of the day. Thank you for all the treats and delicious supper. Tante Doris then took the older boys to a nearby chicken and duck farm. What a great day. Thank you. We slept well that night!! The MacNeills.
